1973 MGB Roadster with overdrive – running project – solid base This 1973 MGB roadster is originally from Oregon (USA) and is offered as a project car. The engine runs and has good oil pressure. The car is equipped with the desirable overdrive gearbox. Recently carried out: Oil service Valves adjusted New valve cover gasket New thermostat and temperature sensor The car has a good base. Floors and sills appear solid. Rust is visible at the lower rear wings (doglegs) and there is surface rust in the trunk floor. The paint is old and a full respray is recommended in the long term. Technical points of attention: Brake master cylinder defective Weber carburetor requires servicing Temperature gauge not working correctly Overdrive operation not tested The interior requires restoration. Soft top is usable but aged. Car with good potential for someone who wants to improve an MGB step by step or as a basis for restoration.
